The PC Admissions Process
Making First Contact
Parents and students are encouraged to experience our campuses via tours (all campuses), shadow-days (grades 4-12th), and open houses (all grades) prior to applying, or at any time during the admissions process.

Admission Requirements
- Portland Christian Schools complies with federal and state requirements for nondiscrimination on the basis of gender, race, color, national, or ethnic origin in admission and access to its programs and activities.
- At least one parent must be a Christian and regularly attend a Bible-believing church (this requirement does not apply to Early Ed. or ISP applicants).
Thank you for your interest in Portland Christian. Please follow these easy steps for admission.
Step 1 Application Form
You may submit an application for admission to Portland Christian using one of the following methods:
- Download the forms listed below for the program(s) to which you wish to apply. Complete the forms on-line and choose Submit by Email. Proceed to Step 2.
Download the forms listed below for the program(s) to which you wish to apply. Complete the forms on your computer and choose to Print Form. You may mail or Fax your completed forms as describe in Step 2.
- Call the Admissions Office at 503-256-3960 and request that an Admissions Packet be mailed out to you. Please specify the program(s) to which you wish to apply: Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle/High School and/or ISP. Proceed to Step 2.

Application Fees:
New Family Registration Fee $35.00 one time per family, non-refundable
Activity Fee (Early Ed.) $75.00 per student, per year
Activity Fee (K-6) $35.00 (please contact Rhonda Rogers for information on the after school program)

Kindergarten through Elementary 6th grade

- Application for Admission
- A copy of your student's most recent report card and transcripts from their last year in school unless entering kindergarten
- Standardized testing information for grades 2-6th
- One Recommendation from a Pastor or Youth Pastor (please use form provided above)
- One Recommendation from a Teacher or Administrator (please use form provided above)
- Statement Of Faith
Application Fee: $150 per student ($300 maximum fee, per family, per year)

Middle School and High School (grades 6-12)

- One Recommendation from a Pastor or Youth Pastor (please use form provided in step one)

- A transcript for the past two years from your student's previous school
- A copy of your student's standardized test scores from the past two years
- Statement Of Faith

Enrollment is limited so please apply as soon as possible to ensure placement.

Please see the ISP Checklist, above, for admission requirements, forms, documents required, fees, and deadlines.
Step 3 Interview and Testing Once the student file is complete with the above items, an administrator will conduct an interview with the student and parents. In some instances, testing may need to be scheduled.
Step 4 Acceptance
We will contact you by mail or phone call after the final interview to inform you of the decision regarding acceptance of your student/s to Portland Christian. Additional documents and fees may be required upon acceptance into the program.
