Both the International Program and Alumni Relations, grew tremendously under Jeanne's leadership. In 2005, Jeanne was appointed Director of Alumni Relations (DAR), now a department in its own right.

Jeanne says of her current position, "It has been my heartbeat for years, and my primary ministry since 2003, to reach out to our alumni, who are such an integral segment of our great school . . . to 'not forget all the benefits' the Lord has bestowed on us because of the foundation laid by our early family members."

As DAR, Jeanne works with The Portland Christian Alumni Association, governed by the Alumni and Friends Board, to plan alumni activities and reunions, to keep a database of alumni and associates, to communicate with alumni and friends, to document school history, to enfold new PC grads into the Association, and to pray for those PC alumni and friends who request it.

One of the main vehicles of communication for The Association is the quarterly REALS magazine. REALS, an acronym for Reach-out, Encourage, And Love/Support, is in fulfillment of The Association's purpose. Every REALS issue is packed full of news, photos, and articles pertaining to alumni and also current school events. Please take a moment to peruse an issue available in pdf format on this site.
