Download PDF Former Teacher & Coach Tom West Awarded ![]() Former teacher and coach Tom West has been selected as the 2011 Oregon High School Coach of the Year for Girls Basketball. This is a major recognition considering ALL levels , 1A-6A coaches can be nominated for the award. Tom's achievements as a basketball coach are tremendous and this Thursday night (1/26), immediately following the girl's varsity basketball game, we will honor Tom for this award. Please consider coming to the game at Multnomah Univ. to stand and applaud a brother who has served Alumni Named All-American ![]() 2007 Portland Christian graduate Shawn Evans was named as a First Team All-American in football for his accomplishments at Lewis and Clark College as a Tight End. Shawn was a three sport athlete at Portland Christian. In the 2006-2007 school year, he was instrumental in sending the Football team to the State Semi-Finals, the Basketball team to the State Playoffs, and the Track team to a 3rd Place finish at State. Senior Crystal LeFebvre Awarded Portland Christian High School is pleased to announce that the National Merit Scholarship Program has awarded senior, Crystal LeFebvre, as a Commended Student for her outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test in 2010.
Girls Varsity Basketball Team Win Tournament Portland Christian's Girl's Varsity Basketball team took first place at the 2011 Columbia Christian Tournament. Congratulations to the players and Coaches! Portland Christian High School Athletic Awards Portland Christian High School experienced a very successful season with Football, Soccer, Volleyball and Cross Country sending teams or individuals to the OSAA state championship series.
