THE ISP FACULTY
The international student program has a director, host family coordinator, two full time faculty members, and several part time faculty members. The student to teacher ratio averages 8:1.

ISP Director
Mrs. Tretter graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Education. She received her Masters in Teaching at Lewis and Clark College. She has worked with education across the country prior to becoming Director. She has served thirty years in education.

English Dept Chair
Mrs. Blair is an Oregon and Washington certified teacher with a BA degree in English Education from Concordia University. She has a Masters in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. She has served five years in secondary education and twenty years in music education.

ESL Bible and English
Mrs. Tolleson graduated with a BA degree in English Literature from UCLA. She received a teaching certificate in secondary English education with an endorsement in psychology. She has served ten years in education.

Mr. Felton graduated from George Fox University with a BA in Communications. He also received his Masters in Teaching from George Fox University. He has served in education for five years.

ESL Counselor
Mrs. Coulson graduated from Portland University with a BS in Education. She taught for ten years in elementary and thirteen years at the junior senior high level. She has been the ISP Counselor at Portland Christian for two years.

Host Family Coordinator
Mrs. Nyone graduated with a BS in Education and a minor in psychology from Portland State University. She has served fourteen years in education, and seventeen years in church leadership and seven years in the host family program as a host parent.
