Andrew Choi, Portland Christian's NHS president, shared what National Honor Society is about and how a student becomes a member.
He then gave an overview of the primary activities that the school's chapter engages in.
The pillars of National Honor Society are character, scholarship, leadership, and service.
A student becomes eligible for membership by earning a 3.5 GPA for 2 consecutive semesters at Portland Christian School.
As a chapter, PCS NHS hosts a giving tree during Christmas and a Red Cross blood drive in the spring.
The 2020 inductees pose on stage after the candle lighting.
