Witnesses First to our Community, then to our City . . . and Beyond

December 20, 2021

The students have been learning how pioneer missionaries spread the Gospel in their day, and how missionaries share and serve in their communities today.

Visitors from Christian ministries who came and presented "The Word of God" both locally and globally have included representatives from Trout Creek Bible Camp, Union Gospel Mission, Agape Village, Africa New Life Ministries, and Wycliffe.  These visitors ranged from fellow school mates, local volunteers and veteran missionaries.

The Bible translation process was explained by Wycliffe missionaries, Al and Cheryl Jensen. They provided the students with a clear explanation of their missionary calling, their academic training to translate for a new version of the bible in a new language, their "How to Survive in the Jungle" training, and their training in languages and culture.

Each student who promised to pray for the people served by the Jensen’s, received a piece of beadwork jewelry as a prayer reminder.

Through these visitors, the students have seen the many ways they can share God and the Bible. We at PCS pray our students will heed Acts 1:8 ". . . you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
