This year, about 34,000 commended students nationwide have been recognized for their exceptional academic promise by the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Anna, who also plays in PCS’ co-ed high school soccer team as a midfielder, was chosen as one of the six homecoming senior princesses.  The soccer team won their homecoming game 2-0. And, that afternoon, at half time, on October 14, 2022, she was crowned Homecoming Queen. Her brother, fellow soccer player, 9th grader Noah Humphrey escorted her onto the field.

This busy young lady is taking five AP classes this semester (Government, English Literature, French, Chemistry and Psychology).  To help her in her future studies, she is also taking Multivariable Calculus.  Anna hopes to study astrophysics and French in college. Meanwhile, she is the lead in the upcoming school fall play, “Miss. Holmes”, keeps busy as Student Council president and is part of the school vocal ensemble.
