One of the most important things about growing leaders is teaching students about Servant Leadership. Not only did God give his one and only son for our salvation; Jesus also lived to serve those around him. ("For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45) The least we can do is teach our students to give back to others around them.
This spring, we are asking our students to raise funds for Serve-A-Thon, a day dedicated to giving back. On Good Friday (April 14th) our junior/senior high students will go out into the community and serve neighbors, senior citizens, elementary students, homeless, and others through various acts of kindness. The students will additionally be selecting a charity to which to donate 10% of funds raised. Please join us and support PCS students today.
