Join us in congratulating 11th grader, Skylar Scott, on winning a Scholastic Art Award 2018 National Gold Medal for her painting “Munchin’.”  She’ll be headed to New York City this June, and will be honored along with hundreds of other national gold winners at Carnegie Hall.

Sophomore, Allison Brist won a National Silver Medal for her drawing, “When The Story Comes Alive.” 

Skylar and Allison were two of Portland Christian’s 67 Portland Metro Scholastic Art Award recipients who have now joined the ranks of national winners. Within the state of Oregon, there are this year, 30 national gold medals and 84 silver winners.
