Latin teacher, Mrs. Rachel Humphrey shares, “The students worked really hard and we at PCS are so proud of each one! There are a number of students who only missed an award by one or two points. Many students showed huge improvement from last year to this year, whether or not that was reflected in an award. We have also had good conversations in class about what we can learn about test preparation and test taking from this experience.”

Twenty-three of the forty-seven who took the exam received awards, including six gold medals, seven silver medals and ten certificates of achievement.  In the five years that PCS has participated in the National Latin Exams, Daniel Humphrey is the first student to receive a perfect score!!!
