“Something you may not all be aware of is the rich athletic history that we have here at Portland Christian. Most schools have three, maybe four state championships in their entire school history. We have now, 18. Not only just 18, but 16 of them have been in the last 14 years!
I would like to one more time congratulate these girls on a great season, making this our 18th state championship as a school and the 3rd for volleyball. They not only won the state tournament for volleyball, but won it playing five sets each game, showing some tremendous resilience and determination. You have all done very well this year and we are all extremely proud of you. Join me again in congratulating these girls and their coaches on a phenomenal season!”
