Portland Christian Schools offers several merit-based scholarships for new and continuing students. Thanks to the generosity of the Oregon Community Foundation-Joseph E. Weston, we are also able to offer needs-based scholarships.

Important Dates:

March 6, 2023: Application packets and on-line forms will be available
April 3, 2023 at 4:00 pm: Deadline for all scholarship materials
After May 1, 2023: Merit and Alumni Scholarship applicants will be notified of awards
After May 15, 2023: OCF-Weston Scholarship applicants will be notified of awards

Note: Scholarships will be awarded only to students who have applied for and been offered admission, or who are currently enrolled at Portland Christian Schools. Only one scholarship will be awarded per student.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS

The PCS Shine & Share Merit Scholarship

- Four for Kindergarten - 2nd grade
- Four for 3rd - 5th grade
Students entering Kindergarten - 5th grade the following fall may apply
Applicants must demonstrate the Christian quality of sharing God’s love with others

The PCS Jr. High Merit Scholarship for Service, Leadership & Academics

Students entering 6th - 8th grades the following fall may apply
Applicants must be considered students in good standing and show potential for Christian service and leadership

The PCS High School Merit Scholarship for Service, Leadership & Academics

$2,000 each

The PCS Jr/Sr High Alumni Scholarship

Students entering 6th - 12th grades the following fall may apply
Applicant must be the child or legal ward of a PCS alumnus

The OCF-Joseph E. Weston Jr/Sr High Scholarship

$3,750 each
25 available
Students entering 6th, 7th, or 9th grade in the fall of 2023 may apply
Students who received the Weston Scholarship at PCS in 2022 may be able to renew
Check with the Business Office regarding eligibility
Students entering 6th-12th grade transferring from a public school may apply
Applicant’s family must also complete the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment
