At PCS, we guide students toward a close relationship with God through a more complete understanding of themselves and God's Word. It is a holistic approach caring not just for the academic growth of a student, but the spiritual growth. To encourage a community where peace, grace, and redemption through Christ are evident, PCS provides:
- An onsite campus pastor who is tasked with setting the themes for chapels, discipleship, and spiritual counseling
- Weekly chapels bringing students and faculty together
- Students participate in worship by singing and playing in the Worship Band
- Occasional guest speakers bring a message to the student
- Spiritual Emphasis Week every fall
- The school community takes a step back from the normal weeks of school
- Through daily chapels, focused teaching and community worship time the theme for the school year comes alive as students hear from different speakers and allow the Lord to move on their hearts
- Missions Emphasis Week every spring
- Local, national and worldwide mission organizations are highlighted in an effort to expand student involvement and awareness of missions
- Guest speakers, testimonies and mission groups coming to our campus, exposing students to missions and how God is working throughout the world
- Junior and senior high students take a full day and serve the community with a missional focus.
- Groups of students, teachers and parents go out for the day to locations such as food banks, public elementary schools, parks, shelters, churches, and senior centers on this annual Serve Day
