Portland Christian Schools believes the arts to be a vital part of a student’s educational experience and that we are fashioned in the image of a creative God.  Because of this belief, PCS:

• Equips our students with an appreciation for, and an understanding, of visual art, music, and drama
• Expands students' technical skill, historical appreciation, and artistic exploration
• Educates so that this multifaceted arena may be comprehensive and diverse
• Encourages students to explore their God-given talents through the arts
• Provides every elementary student weekly art classes from an art teacher
• Provides elective classes to Jr/Sr High students in Visual Art, Yearbook/Digital Photography, Choir, Band, and Drama
• Provides Sr High students, leveled Visual Art class selections, Yearbook/Digital Photography, Concert Choir, and Advanced Band
