“Le Grand Concours” is the National French Contest, “an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes.” (http://frenchteachers.org/concours/gc_about/gc_about.htm) 

French teacher Mrs. Rachel Humphrey is excited and delighted to share the following!

“The French 2 class participated in the National French Contest right before this year’s spring break.  Join me in congratulating the following students: 

Gold Award: Anna Humphrey, 10th grade

Silver Award: Jacquelyne Nguyen, 10th grade

Bronze Award: Khanh Trinh, 12th grade

Mention d'honneur: Sienna Liljenwall, 11th grade

All of the students worked hard in preparing for this exam, especially during the difficult circumstances of this year. I am so thrilled that we have been able to keep learning and growing despite all the challenges. On to French 3!”
