This fundraiser, run by the Elementary School Parent Committee, is an all-day event for the ECE and Elementary School community.  It actually starts well before the day of the Jog-A-Thon when students begin collecting pledges from family and friends.  As of mid-November this year, we’re received more than $28,000 in pledges and our goal of $25,000 has been met!

Each grade from the preschoolers to the 5th graders ran with their classmates and teachers. Some ran as hard and as fast as they could.  

Others walked their laps with their teachers.

Family volunteers – parents, grandparents, siblings - tracked their laps on the tags attached to the back of their t-shirts.

The Parent Committee uses the monies raised towards events and items that support the students. Shelle Dietrich, committee president, reports that, “Last year we supported two bottle filling stations, new curtains for the stage, chrome book purchases and license, security camera’s/system, as well as upfront expenses for school supplies sale and Fun Night.”

The decision for what this year’s fundraiser will assist will be made by the Parent Committee.  If you’re an elementary school parent or guardian, attend the committee monthly meetings and vote!
