“Le Grand Concours” is the National French Contest, “an annual competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French. Students of French in grades 1-12, in all 50 states and abroad, take a written test and compete against students with similar educational background for prizes.” (http://frenchteachers.org/concours/gc_about/gc_about.htm)
French teacher Mrs. Rachel Humphrey is excited to share the following!
“Although not all my students got awards, they all worked really hard and their knowledge of, and proficiency in, French has improved dramatically over the course of the year. I am very proud of them all.”
11th grader, Alexandre shared that he is pleased to have moved from receiving a bronze to a gold medal this year. He's found that with Mrs. Humphrey's help, his prose writing improved this year!
