Serve Day on May 16, 2024, at the ECE/Elementary campus was a resounding success. The sun was shining behind clouds and there was no rain. From the wee hands and feet of preschoolers to the hands and feet of family volunteers, the grounds and structures all received a face-lift!

 

Everyone rotated through several stations throughout the morning.

 

 

Spreading bark dust

 

 

 

 

Wiping walls and play structures

 

 

 

Picking up pinecones and pine needles around play structures and the turf field

 

 

 

Removing dying plants and planting new ones

 

 

Washing windows

 

 

Getting fruit and drinks & relaxing at the break station.

 

 

It was extra special to see preschoolers assigned an older student as a work buddy.
