Junior High Painting/Drawing Workshop
Entering Grades 6 - 8

Location: Art Studio Classroom, Portland Christian Jr/Sr High School campus

Whether you can’t stop doodling or are new to drawing, this workshop is for you! Improve drawing and painting skills through the use of pen and ink, watercolor paint, acrylic paint, and drawing materials. Join us as we learn new techniques and have fun creating in the studio!

Maximum enrollment 15 students.

Are you looking to add quality works to your art portfolio this summer? Join Mrs. Whitley, whose students have won both regional and national Scholastic Art and Writing awards, this summer for a week-long intensive studio workshop. We will be focusing on creating 1-2 works per student. This course will be student-driven and teacher-guided and will include brainstorming, creating, and critiquing at least 1-2 quality pieces to be added to the student’s portfolio.
