Starting with “the littlest of the littles” many of “the Fours” took the big step of finishing preschool and will be moving up to kindergarten next year – they grow up so fast!
Kindergarten Graduation saw our next set of youngsters march the aisle to mark the accomplishment of completing kindergarten on Friday, May 25 in the Elementary Gym. Three classes of kindergarteners (52 students) took the stage to sing songs about all they had learned from the ABC's of reading to “Hiding God's Word” in their hearts. Later they changed into caps and gowns to receive their diplomas. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
A bit further along the journey, we promoted the 43 eighth-graders into high school – they will learn SO much in the next four years! As they enter 9th grade – high school - they’ll be joined by international students as well as transfer students.
And the culmination of it all – high school graduation! Fifty three students walked into the Mountainview Christian Church sanctuary at their Commencement Ceremony as seniors on June 2. And left as PCS alumni, ready for whatever comes next – college, careers, travel, adventure, service – their lives “transformed by the renewing of their minds.”
