We believe that with the right resources every student has the ability to reach their college and career goals. PCS graduates have many options for their future. Some will go on to full-time employment, other students may choose military service or trade school, and over 90% of students continue on to college. Through individual and grade level meetings, online resources, college events, and additional information, students will have the knowledge and encouragement they need to make decisions about life after high school.
FAFSA and Financial Planning for Your College Education
Hosted by Portland Christian Schools
Tuesday, January 30th at 6:00 pm
PC Jr/Sr High School Library
Students and their parents are invited to participate in a presentation and Q&A about the new FAFSA and financial preparation for college, led by a Corban University financial representative. Information covered will include the new FAFSA, federal and state grants, college scholarships, and student loans. Please bring a laptop if you would like to log in and look at the FAFSA application during the session. Contact Dean Fisher with questions.
Representatives from a variety of four-year and two-year colleges and universities, technical schools, and military recruiters will be on campus to meet with students during lunch period. Students should take advantage of this opportunity to meet with these representatives when they visit to gather information and learn about the options they have after high school.
Listen to morning announcements for information about schools that are visiting, and stop by the table in the hallway at lunchtime.
