At Portland Christian, athletics is an extension of our mission to develop students who honor God in every area of life. Our program cultivates Christ-centered character, teamwork, and excellence—helping students grow spiritually, academically, and athletically.
We offer a wide range of opportunities for students in grades 1–12, including elementary, middle school, junior varsity, and varsity teams. As members of CYO and OSAA, our athletes compete with integrity at every level.
We believe competition plays an important role in shaping mature, resilient Christian leaders. Student-athletes are challenged to demonstrate Christ-like character on and off the field, while being coached and mentored by leaders who care deeply about both performance and personal growth.
Portland Christian Athletics is committed to:
- A safe, engaging, and supportive environment
- Clear and timely communication
- Dynamic, Christ-centered coaching
- Positive recognition of student-athletes
- Quality facilities, equipment, and competitive opportunities
Our Royals compete in volleyball, soccer, cross country, basketball, track and field, golf, baseball, and softball—building a tradition of excellence with over 100 league championships and multiple state titles.
Not the end of the game, just the end of an inning! Congratulations to our graduating seniors from the varsity baseball team.
Missing: Beau Bautista
From OSAA, based exclusively on nominees from varsity head coaches (thanks Coach Wilson!), two “Fab Frosh” from Portland Christian are making a major impact across Oregon baseball diamonds this spring:
Jackson Lottis (#22), INF, Portland Christian – Lottis is a tough out despite being so young. He leads the Royals in qualify at bats and has power to all fields. He also is developing a solid repertoire as a pitcher.
Kaleb Mazurowski (#13), RHP, Portland Christian – A tall, lanky righthander, Mazurowski pounds the strike zone for the 10-7 Royals. He leads the team in innings pitched and complete games and has a 2.8 ERA. He could develop into a monster as his secondary pitches evolve.
You can find the listings in OSAAtoday’s Baseball Notebook: www.osaa.org/today
Congrats to our five golf seniors who were recognized at the PC baseball game last night! These guys helped grow our golf program the last two years and will be sorely missed!

Head Baseball Coach Kyle Wilson reports, "At 7–6, the varsity team is gaining momentum, highlighted by a key sweep over Gaston to open league play. With 19 players in the program, increased JV games are helping build experience. Our highlight of the year so far was our spring break trip to Idaho. It was a great experience for all and something we look forward to doing again in the future. Our goal is to return to the state tournament. This group has the potential to do just that by staying focused and working together." Thanks to Coach Wilson and assistant coach Nolan Helgerson for setting the drive and spirit. Go Royals!!
