The Campus Safety Project

$100,000 Match Challenge

If our community raises $100,000 for the Campus Safety Project, every dollar given before June 12 will be matched by a generous donor—doubling the impact of your gift.

Your $25 becomes $50

Your $500 becomes $1,000

Together, $100,000 becomes $200,000

Every gift, large or small, made before June 12 brings us closer to safer, more secure campuses for our students.

Here’s how your donation will help keep Portland Christian students safe:

Enhanced Campus Monitoring

Your generosity will expand our ability to monitor and respond to activity across our buildings and grounds. Additional cameras will provide complete coverage of every building entrance, corridor, outdoor space, and perimeter boundary.

Campus Perimeter Improvements

Your support will enhance campus safety through upgraded fencing and secure entry gates, providing a clear, secure border around campus grounds.

Campus Access Upgrades

Your gift will transition every exterior door across both the ECE/Elementary and Middle/High School campuses from traditional lock-and-key to a modern swipe-card access system. The main front entrance to the Elementary building and the entrance to our Early Childhood Education (ECE) wing will receive impact-resistant, forced-entry-rated doors.

I have always appreciated the attention to safety at Portland Christian. It is one of the reasons we were drawn to PC.”

A Second Home Worth Protecting

A lot of life happens within these walls — friendships forged, faith deepened, callings discovered. On any given day, you might see a preschooler exploring the classroom, a first grader racing to recess, a middle schooler heading to Bible class, or a high schooler staying late for practice or tutoring.

This is more than a school. It’s a second home — and thanks to faithful supporters like you, it has always been a place where students can truly thrive. This campaign is simply the next step in that long tradition, and every gift helps keep these campuses safe and vibrant for the next generation.

NAME: RACHEL GRAHAM

“My son started at PC in 3rd grade — he’s a 7th grader now. My family moved here after nine years in Uganda, and we needed a place where an active kid wouldn’t get lost in the shuffle — where teachers actually know their students, where our faith would be reinforced. PC was all of that for us. It still is. I don’t take lightly what it means to be trusted with something so many families have built over so many years, and I’m grateful we get to be the ones who pass it forward a little stronger.”
