Let Nothing Move You: PC Students and Staff Honor Local Pastors

Every year, PC Elementary & ECE staff and students take time to celebrate and honor our pastors, including youth pastors and Sunday School teachers, with a special breakfast, thoughtful gifts, and student performances from preschool through 5th grade.

This year’s theme, “Stand Firm,” offered encouragement to those who minister, grounded in Scripture:

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
1 Corinthians 15:58

The morning was further blessed as the high school worship team led us in music.

We welcomed 57 pastors representing approximately 40 different churches. Principal Sherilee Thomas shared how deeply one pastor and his wife expressed their love for PC and appreciation for the school community.

Pastor Kevin Hohnstadt of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church later shared in an email:

“Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful time yesterday. Y’all do a great job appreciating the pastors, giving us a time to meet one another, and seeing the good work [you do] with the kiddos in your care!”

We are grateful to walk alongside our families and church partners as we equip the next generation to grow for Christ’s kingdom.
