Signing Day for PC Senior Athletes

Seven seniors from Portland Christian High School were honored last week during a special ceremony in the school’s gymnasium, where each signed a letter of intent to compete at the collegiate level. The event marked the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and a shared dream of playing college sports.

“There’s a stigma that you have to go to a big school to get noticed, to get a scholarship, to get offers from colleges, and that could not be further from the truth. If you are talented enough, [college] coaches will find you. If you have good high school coaches, which we have at PC, you will develop. There are a lot of bigger schools – 6A/5A/4A – that would love to have seven signings like we do today. We couldn’t be happier for these athletes and their families,” said PC Athletic Director Erik Lyslo.

Congratulations to our senior athletes as they take the next step in their athletic and academic journeys!
