PCS High School Drama presents "An Old Fashioned Dessert Theater"

October 23, 2023

This year, the drama department presents two wonderful Christmas related plays.

It's a Wonderful Life: Live Radio Play adapted by Joe Landry

This beloved American holiday classic comes to captivating life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he contemplates the meaning of his life on one fateful Christmas Eve. With live sound effects and a cast of seasoned thespians, you won't want to miss this one-act play!

Miracle on 34th Street, adapted by Mountain Community Theater (based on the 20th Century Fox motion picture Miracle on 34th Street)

By chance, Kris Kringle, an old man in a retirement home, gets a job working as Santa for Macy's Department Store. Through a series of events, Kris finds himself in court where he must prove that he is actually Santa Claus. In this delightful tale, experience the spirit and love of Christmas, as well as the joy of childhood fantasy.
