Sandra Sy, Class of 2018

As one of three 4th-grade teachers, it doesn’t seem so long ago that Sandra Sy, was herself in elementary school! She attended Portland Christian School as a kindergartener through 12th grade.

Favorite PC Memories

From elementary school, Sandra’s favorite memories were the jog-a-thons, the 4th grade musical Animal Kingdom, playing Bible smugglers, playing cops and robbers on the playground, and making childhood best friends!

Life After Graduation

I studied at George Fox University and received my bachelor degree in Elementary Education and an ESOL endorsement in 2023.

Family Connections at PC

My older brother Sander graduated in 2015 and my younger brother Sanjae graduated in 2024.

Significant News

Sandra’s new last name will be Rodas in July 2026. Her fiancé is currently a substitute teacher at the high school and elementary campus.
