Extra-Curriculars

The education that we offer our students is not limited to what occurs within the classroom, between the first and final bells. A PCS education seeks to develop the whole student by fostering creativity, cultivating talent, and creating close community.  Extra curricular activities are an integral part of student life at PCS since they provide an opportunity for students to develop socially, spiritually, and physically.

Athletic activities

Because the junior high school resides on the same campus as the senior high school, students can take advantage of all the sports facilities.
  • State-of-the-art track and field
  • Participation in football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, track and field, baseball, and softball

Arts activities
  • The Jr High drama class has two yearly productions
  • All Jr High students can audition for the Jr/Sr High School spring musical productions
  • An annual spring visual arts show celebrates the work of Jr High students
