At PCS, we guide students toward a close relationship with God through a more complete understanding of themselves and God's Word. It is a holistic approach caring not just for the academic growth of a student, but for their spiritual growth as well.
To encourage a community where peace, grace, and redemption through Christ are evident, PCS provides:
- Weekly chapels bringing together students and faculty
- Students participate in worship by singing and playing in the Worship Band
- Guest speakers share messages with students and staff
- Spiritual Emphasis Week every fall
- The school community takes a step back from the normal school week to focus on spiritual life
- Through daily chapels, focused teaching, and community worship time the theme for the school year comes alive as students hear from different speakers and allow the Lord to move on their hearts
- Missions Week every spring
- Local, national, and worldwide mission organizations are highlighted to expand student involvement and awareness of missions
- Guest speakers, testimonies, and mission groups come to our campus, exposing students to missions and providing evidence of how God is working throughout the world
- Junior and senior high students spend a day in the community, serving with a missional focus. Groups of students, teachers and parents go to food banks, public elementary schools, parks, shelters, churches, senior centers and more on our annual Serve Day
