Elementary students build a solid academic foundation through a biblically integrated curriculum. Instruction blends direct teaching with hands-on projects, field trips, and small-group support, ensuring enrichment and remediation as needed. Specialty classes — Spanish, art, music, PE, and media/library — cultivate intellectual curiosity and creative growth.
Experiences (Highlights, special events)
Learning is enhanced through field trips such as visits to the zoo, Fort Vancouver, BizTown, and cultural performances. Students participate in leadership opportunities, reading challenges, public speaking in chapel, and character-focused chapels that integrate academic and creative expression.
Enrichment Opportunities (Extracurriculars, co-curriculars, programs, groups)
Opportunities include Lego Engineering Club, Chess Club, Band (starting in grade 4), and athletics like basketball, track & field, baseball, volleyball, and cross country. Students also perform in Christmas programs, musicals, talent festivals, and art showcases. An annual Cultural Night helps students gain understanding and empathy for people from diverse backgrounds.
