Athlete of the Week – Noah Humphrey

A dedicated multi-sport athlete, PC senior Noah Humphrey is excelling on the field and the course this fall season. Noah made a major impact last week in both soccer and cross country, earning recognition from coaches as Portland Christian’s Athlete of the Week.

On the soccer field, Noah led the Royals to a 2–1 record, scoring five goals in three matches.

“Noah was clearly our best player last week with his goal-scoring and leadership on the field,” said varsity boys soccer head coach Steve Ancheta.

On top of that, he turned in an impressive performance on the cross-country course. At the Rainier Invitational, he shaved nearly a full minute off his previous best 5K time, finishing with an impressive 18:38 and placing 18th overall in a highly competitive meet.

“Noah ran an outstanding race,” said varsity cross country head coach Andrew Jannsen. “He’s showing tremendous growth and dedication.”

Congratulations to Noah for his outstanding performances and for representing Portland Christian with heart and leadership across multiple sports.
