Celebrating God’s Faithfulness in 2025
Christmas 2025
Dear Portland Christian Family and Friends,
As we come to the close of another calendar year, our hearts overflow with gratitude for all that God has done here at Portland Christian. Each day, we have witnessed His hand at work – in the laughter of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the faith-filled community that continues to grow stronger year after year.
The year 2025 has been one of incredible progress and transformation. Thanks to your prayers, encouragement, and support, we’ve seen blessings abound on our campuses and among our students and staff! Here are a few highlights from this past year:
- Our campuses have been beautifully enhanced with new outdoor bleachers, new carpet and flooring, polished concrete, fresh paint, new fencing, branded entry carpets, futsal courts, and a new scoreboard and signage on our sports fields, creating a more vibrant and welcoming environment for students, families, guests, and staff – all while remaining debt free!
- Our facilities continue to expand, including progress toward a new elementary campus building, which will allow us to serve even more families with excellence.
- Thanks to the generosity of our big-hearted donors, we’ve been able to help families with over $500,000 in scholarships and aid this past year, opening doors for children who might not otherwise experience a Christ-centered education.
- And perhaps most exciting of all, our students continue to grow in faith, knowledge, and compassion as they discover what it means to love God wholeheartedly and serve others with joy.
Here are just a few examples:

Preschoolers are not too little to learn really big things. One of our preschoolers told her mom that she learned to talk to God in preschool. “I don’t have to make any noise, but I can still talk to God in my heart, and God can hear me.” These little ones are living out scripture without even knowing it: “From the lips of children and infants, you Lord, have called forth your praise.” (Matt 21:16).
Little first-grader Eloise’s excitement at “highlighting every word in her Bible” is so touching. “She still remembers so many verses from kindergarten,” says mom Shelby. What a great faith foundation she is learning early in life!

Our elementary students are fulfilling Jesus’ charge to “love your neighbor” as they pray together for the recipients of the food boxes they put together before delivering them – it is absolutely heart-warming to hear their sincere prayers.
Our middle school students are creating works of excellence that extend far beyond the classroom. Their designs don’t just stay on their screens – they enrich our campuses and cultivate creativity – like this Pastor Appreciation invitation designed by Amelia, an 8th-grade media arts student.

And we’re delighted to see our high school Student Spiritual Life (SSL) team step up to lead their peers in faith and humility as they lead chapels and volunteer to serve as chaplains for the PC sports team – what a way to lead for impact! Student Council president, Olive, says about SSL, “To have a whole team constantly praying for our school is one of the most powerful things. We are so grateful that God has allowed a Jesus Revolution to take place in our school over these past years, and I can’t wait to see it grow into something even more beautiful than it already is. God truly is making His way through our school using our student leaders, and I couldn’t be more amazed and thankful.”

These moments don’t happen by accident. They happen because people like you continue to invest in our mission – because you believe that Christian education matters and that the next generation deserves a firm foundation built on Biblical truth.
As we look to 2026, we see even greater opportunities ahead. We hope to expand scholarship funds for families in need, finish our new elementary building, and further strengthen our spiritual life programs, fine arts, and athletic facilities.
Your support enables us to continue offering an education rooted in truth, excellence, and God’s Word.
Thank you for being part of our story, for believing in our students, and for partnering with us to equip the next generation to grow in faith, excel in learning, and impact the world for Christ.
May your Christmas season be filled with peace, joy, and the presence of our Savior.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Rhonda Rogers
Superintendent, Portland Christian Schools
