Middle schoolers engage in a rigorous, biblically integrated curriculum covering Bible, English, math, science, social studies, and physical education. Instruction allows for advanced placement in math, honors English (grade 8), or early access to high school courses when appropriate. Students have the opportunity to receive free after-school tutoring. Electives are designed for exploration and skill-building in both academic and creative domains, with options such as Spanish, gardening, drama, band, choir, visual arts, media arts, and yearbook.
Experiences (Highlights, special events)
Academic learning is supported through hands-on projects, collaborative work, and real-world applications. Arts experiences include concerts, plays, and state-level honor performances in music. 6th-grade students participate in Outdoor School, a four-day, immersive learning experience blending science, math, history, art, and language in a natural setting.
Enrichment Opportunities (Extracurriculars, co-curriculars, programs, groups)
Beyond core academics, students have the opportunity to join a variety of clubs like chess, book club, cubing, games, ping pong, and can compete in e-sports. Fine arts participation spans band, choir, drama productions, and visual arts showcases. Academic extension comes through leadership roles, yearbook, and elective-based skill-building in media arts, digital design, and photography. Cultural Week gives students understanding and empathy for people from diverse backgrounds.

By the end of 8th grade, students are prepared for the rigor of high school with strengthened study skills, academic readiness in core subjects, and refined creative abilities.
