High school PE and health courses emphasize conditioning, agility, coordination, and knowledge of anatomy, paired with decision-making skills for healthy living. Athletic programs are grounded in discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, integrating physical growth with character development.
Experiences (Highlights, special events)
Students participate in competitive league play, tournaments, and state championships. PCS teams have a strong legacy of success; recent highlights include girls’ volleyball state championship, a boys’ basketball state runner-up finish, and multiple track and field medals.
Enrichment Opportunities (Extracurriculars, co-curriculars, programs, groups)
Athletic offerings include soccer, volleyball, cross country, basketball, cheer, baseball, softball, golf, track and field, Ski Club, and intramural-style events like Powderpuff and Powertuff. Athletes receive college recruitment support and can pursue leadership roles in team settings.
