Kindergarten students are taught that service is an expression of their faith, with biblical principles woven into lessons that highlight kindness, responsibility, and empathy. Teachers model servant leadership in daily routines, encouraging students to consider others before themselves.
Experiences (Highlights, special events)
Students participate in age-appropriate service opportunities, such as collecting donations for local ministries, creating cards or crafts for community helpers, and joining elementary Serve Days alongside older students.
Enrichment Opportunities (Extracurriculars, co-curriculars, programs, groups)
Special chapel presentations and character trait recognition offer public affirmation for acts of service, helping students see the connection between their actions and living out their faith.
Progress (Goals, achievements, readiness)
By year’s end, students demonstrate an understanding that serving others is part of following Jesus, show initiative in helping classmates and teachers, and display excitement for participating in school-wide service activities.
